galing. and kinda scary. how pragmatic he is. natatakot ako kasi nau-uncertain tuloy ako. because some--the supposed idealists--would say na parang trapo lang din siya: manipulating others, actively and deliberately learning how to maneuver through politics, in order to ultimately champion his own POV. pero at the same time, it can't be denied that you simply cannot hope to lead human beings any other way. (in a sense, that speaks to the type of human beings that have to be led...) so hindi ko tuloy alam kung great person ba talaga siya (like, off the top of my head, mahatma gandhi--but syempre, he was more of a religious/spiritual leader rather than a political leader) or if he's just good at what he does, and so we shouldn't really be very amazed by someone who works hard to be good at what he does, and knows that he is.

    hehe haba comment!

thanks for posting. :) btw other, last point: meron akong nabasa some time ago na south africa really hasn't gotten all that much better since nawala ang apartheid and napa-power ang ANC. in some ways nga raw it's gotten worse: worse crime, innocent afrikaaners being persecuted, graft and corruption, inflation. and sabi raw masyado lang bilib ang western media kay mandela without looking at what south africa has really become. so napapa-wonder tuloy ako. :)
